he's legit #2 in the race. Marte's injury set him back. The meaning of the award being most valuable to the team should mean Lindor gets the award because even without Ohtani, the Dodgers would probably be doing pretty well.

I get why Ohtani would get the award and I'm not gonna sit here and cry about it but I do think Lindor is more "deserving" of the title Most Valuable Player if that makes sense.
