yeah idk, not entirely sold on this decision. Like I understand the contracts and improving defense, but like a 35 year old player who is probably 1 injury away from never being the same player again is a lot to bank on.

It is a bizarre move because one would assume Nimmo could've gotten a better return. But I can kinda see the general thought process behind it. My assumption is that there's still more moves to come. I mean old man McNeil is still around, pack him up. The Alonso deal is still up in there air.

Feels like they couldve got more for Nimmo as of now. Idk i f*** wit Nimmo heavy, was excited for him to be a life long met.. but he was surely on his way to being an expensive Left handed DH.
