Then my grandpa took me to shea to watch pedro martinez win his 200th game, fell in love with the orange and blue ever since

Your grand pops and Pedey turned you into a Mets fan that’s beautiful .

Honestly I didn’t know anything else but this team my Grandmother came to NY from Trinidad a sports lover the year they won’t be pennant 73 and she just gravitated towards them her first year really watching baseball and been riding ever since it just trickled down into my moms ,my brother and myself

Now I will pass on the pain to my children. Builds character.

Man that team should have won a chip or two! Jose Reyes, Carlos Delgado, Carlos Beltran , David Wright and etc. those were some awesome times to be a mets fan . My grandpops from the islands too, idk what it is but everyone from the islands in new york mostly mets fans lol

Still love pedro to this day, thats my grandpops favorite player seeing him on MLB always make me smile
