but nah Gunna and thug are immaculate on Recognize Real

and the f***ing production with the vocals in the background sampled and the acoustic guitar licks its so crazy

some of the songs are def overly basic and mid imo and they dont fit the acoustic atmospheric vibe that could've been more homogenous

but I feel like some of that production definitely went onto DS4 for gunna's album

yo road rage is CRAZY. like im convinced the masses don’t like these group of songs on the same body of work cause if they were released individually, i can’t see how people wouldn’t fw it

It's fine though I'm not trying to make everyone like it

But people bring up me liking it, and it's like at that point I'ma show my ass (so to speak) and praise what I like about it

It's like u asking for the reaction lol

But oh well

Punk lowkey did disappoint me when it dropped, cause s*** like peepin out the window, insure my wrist, scoliosis aint really fit the rest of the vibe, nor the juice wrld song

I feel like BTG did the same s*** where it had a good portion of the album be what it should've been but he still tries to play it safe with a few cookie cutter rap songs that a few fans will be like:

"Yo (insert track) IS THE BEST SONG ON HERE" meanwhile its mid and boring af with a trash future verse or something

i feel that. wasn’t a fan of certain songs but i’ve ran that album on a loop so much that i’ve grown to like them for different reasons/experiences. peeping out the window & insure my wrist hit for me cause of the environment of the season (i spend a loooot of time driving to & from work everyday)

i got every element of thug i felt like with this album so that could be a reason i listen to it so much

a similar thing happened to me with CLB like as soon as it gets to No Friends in the Industry (which i like on its own) it immediately halts the vibe i was feeling from the first part of the album and stops the momentum i liked best about it,

Even if i like the track its like damn i wish this certain vibe was there throughout

that happens with a lot of artists though for me and i guess its just me being picky

I get the need for different sounding songs of course

i remember i was driving home from work and Hate The Game came on. then Fifth Day Dead. then Yea Yea Yea. there was a cotton candy sky, weather was nice, windows was down, weed was hittin, it was perfect

i can understand how most people don’t have experiences like that or hear it differently but for me, sonically, all of it connected and the time of year just enhanced it even more
