Returning the offense from last year and only adding the WR4 at best of the class

Ehh I’ll give him #3
I’m not as huge on Ruggs as I would be Lamb, Jeudy or JJ because I think those 3 are the only “safe” picks
Jeudy got most of the attention at Bama which made Ruggs always get the 2nd best corner on the opposing team
He’s a tremendous athlete and he got all the tools to be good but there wasn’t too many times he jumped off the screen during his college career
Like I knew he had speed but I never saw 4.2 in pads
We’ll see
Like I literally thought Jeudy was the fastest guy on the Bama team
He looked more explosive than Ruggs in pads to me
I was shocked when he only got 4.45 lol

Jeudy's quicker, but Ruggs was definitely always faster
We never got to see the extent of that because Tua doesn't have the biggest arm

Well I didn't do too much research on Ruggs until 2nd half of last college season so then I found out he was pretty fast
Still, Jeudy looks like the better receiver even though Ruggs is a better athlete
We'll see how he develops
He can actually run routes well so he isn't just some fast guy who can't do anything else
I was pretty high on John Ross and he actually started to prove me right a bit last season

Yeah man when I was hyping up Ruggs it wasn't because I thought he was better, it's just that I thought he might be there for us lmao. Now f*** if I know, all 3 will be gone by pick 15 lol

Naw once he ran that 4.2 it was a wrap
I still wouldn't be surprised if he's top 10
But yeah Ruggs has solid route running, strong hands, and body control to go with elite speed. He didn't even start playing football until he was like a junior in HS so he's got a ways to go

Yeah I saw that 4.27 and shed a tear
I remember when Chris Johnson broke the combine record and shot all the way to the 1st round
I never heard of him until the combine

waffle's ho ass has the best in game speed there
they probably got the best 1-4 WR core in collegiate history though
I remember when we D'd up jeudy and ruggs and Waddle just outstrode our coverage by at least a dozen yards
I say this to say dont gas Tua lol

Craziest part is you named Jeudy, Ruggs, and Waddle and none of these 3 was even the best Bama receiver last season lol
Devonta is def a monster in terms of moves off the line.

Just 3 random plays:
1:13 He beat Noah, who's slowly become a day 1 corner himself, and woulda had a comfortable TD on a better throw
3:20 Alabama ran him in motion more than any of the WRs this game and he probably would've toasted Daniel Thomas (#24) no problem and no moves needed, had the QB had 2.5 more seconds
5:00 that sluggo against Noah was f***ing disgusting
theres a GL td he has later in the game thats also grimy, he deserves to be a first rounder next year no doubt

Bro next year's class isn't as deep as this year's, but even still I feel like Devonta would've been a 1st rounder this year lmao. There was absolutely no reason for him to stay.

It’s not as deep but it’s very top heavy lol he should’ve definitely declared

thats what I was telling CFB dudes when he announced he was coming back, taking a low first rounder makes more sense to me than playing another year where defenses are gonna be able to key in on you. plus the risk of injury obv
I remember thinking Clemson vs LSU was gonna have the best WR talent display for any modern natty and Ross/Higgins was ass as f***
There’s still at least 3 first round WR’s next year
Chase, Ross, Waddle (Moore?) ?
Yeah I'm off trading up, just get me a WR in the 1st and the 2nd. Two specific ones in fact, even though one of them is risky.
