We actually don’t know if any of the guys that been here are playmakers or not... Kris Richard taught our DB’s to not turn around and look for the ball. That’s why we never got INT’s, ever.

Now with Nolan and Al Harris who emphasize getting TO’s, we might see Lewis or Awuzie turn into a real playmaker.

Marinelli and Richard were terrible.

Our Safety position is pretty set for now with Xavier Woods and HaHa... also the rumor is Awuzie might get moved there. He played some Safety at Colorado.

Then we signed Darian Thompson to be backup and Donovan Wilson our rookie from last year who had 3 INT’s and 3 PD’s in preseason yet JG/Marinelli/Richard wouldn’t give him a shot over Jeff f***in Heath to play in the regular season

I'd like to see a full season of Kirk in Kubiak's offense before I make any assumptions about his future. Aside from the final game of the regular season, Kirk was lights out in big games last year. It was the defense that didn't show up for those games

Stefanski was in love with Dalvin and our TEs. Kubiak's offense will be much better and actually allow Kirk to drive the ball down the field rather than checking down, throwing TE screens and looking for reads underneath

We will be better than last year, I’ll guarantee that

Gerald McCoy and Poe at DT is a huge upgrade. Less double teams for Lawrence.

And if Aldon Smith and Randy Gregory get reinstated at the other DE spot... a lot hinges on those 2

Losing Byron hurts but honestly don’t think it’s THAT big of a loss. He isn’t a playmaker. His QB Rating allowed was only like 32nd in the league and he has never got an INT in his entire career that wasn’t a Hail Mary or tipped pass and I think he has 1 INT in his last 48 games
