idk, the divisional system has given us some kinda ass teams in playoffs over teams with better records

I just look it at like this...rams and Steelers would’ve been in the playoffs last season if format was in play. I know for damn sure I wouldn’t have to wanted to see either of them in the playoffs lol

Being just above a .500 team shouldn’t give you a great chance of being in the playoffs

I would vote to keep the playoff format the same but I don't hate this, I mean I can see the upside. Wild card weekend will be bigger and better and yea sometimes an 8-8 team will get in that slot and they'll stink but there will also be 10-6 teams who get in.

My biggest objection is it gives the 1 seed a very big advantage in their conference. the 1 seed should now reach the SB at a higher rate which isn't as fun

just don't do 17 games plz. the players need to hold firm (but they won't lol they'll get crushed in the bargaining like always, sadly)

Depends on who it is that wants the 7 teams per conference playoffs. If it’s the league then the players should stand firm on 16 games. If it’s the players, then this is likely a concession.

Just stop letting division winners with worst records get home field and extend rosters to 65

New playoff format is straight TRASH

3 preseason games is still too much.
