Pretty sure Jets still have a lot of cap space even with a trade for Watson

Not sure why this thread thinks it’ll just be the same Jets roster if they get Watson lol

The roster isn’t even the reason why I’m questioning that decision

You tryna leave a franchise with terrible ownership and your 1st choice is the Jets?

And even with all the cap they have holes in every position

That’s a 2-3 year rebuild and you’ll have to give up your 2 1st round picks for Watson

I don’t think playing in NY for Saleh and a team that has a lot of money is a terrible move for Watson

2nd of all Saleh is a 1st time head coach, why you think he’s just gonna be great?

3rd of all you can’t look at that roster and tell me yea, this can be fix this year ! There’s holes on the oline and dline, secondary, receiver corps, linebacking corps, runningback corps

Dolphins is the clear #1 option

There’s a culture already intact

The roster is good and the defense is close to SB ready right now and you have a proven head coach that knows what he’s doing

They get Watson and the SB is in reach within 2 seasons

I’m pretty sure they’d have about 60M after they trade for Watson lol

2) no Idk if he’s gonna be great but I think majority of us agree he was a great hire and we know players love him, Watson is one of them for a reason

3) roster can be improved very quickly, having the QB and LT situation already figured out goes a long way
