Smith's breakout age: 20 years, 8 months. Hit rate gets small on guys who break out past the age of 20, especially as juniors. Put more simply: Smith is dominating in college while his "peers" (the guys in what should have been his draft class) are putting up numbers in the NFL. He's 22 years old, for comparison Jefferson just put up 1400 yards in the NFL at 21.
Bad BMI, bad speed score, old age, and wasting an extra year in college to stat pad = not the WR1
And it's not to say that Smith is necessarily a horrible player, but Chase is so far ahead of him that it's disrespectful to compare the two

His numbers aren’t inflated by Henry lol he’s the spearhead of the offense so of course he calls for extra attention and free up other areas of the game but AJ brown has been one of the best RAC WR/ big big play threat since he came into the league.
