It’s not that simple when Chiefs can score off bombs in the matter of minutes, sometime seconds if you can’t stop them. The time of possession games also puts more pressure on the opposing team to score TDs since there will be fewer possessions.

Teams have to be careful trying to make the game faster, because Chiefs can still beat that pace of the game. Most of those close score games weren’t really close, Chiefs just let up the gas at the end.
