I would have gotten Clowney this offseason. Ramsey and Anderson at the deadline.

I don’t care about the cost draft pick-wise or money-wise. Howie has shown nothing that makes me confident he can draft, so I’d rather get known commodities. As for money, plenty of players are coming off the books, and I know I wouldn’t have extended Sproles or Peters. And Alshon contact certainly shouldn’t be guaranteed for next year.

And yes Clowney hasn’t had the greatest season, but he’d still be someone that requires gameplanning for. Let’s not forget that our leading sack numbers are inflated when 3 of those sacks are against a garbage Jets line and QB.
