honestly a list is genius from AMCs perspective. you get more people seeing movies (they dont even really make much on tickets anyway), and incentivize them to purchase concessions with rewards point accumulation. i bet a lot of people end up spending an equivalent amount if not more than ppl without a-list due to concession costs. and they make a s*** ton of money on them too.
