I think the rapping and song writing on here is a little bit stronger, like Balloon vs Juggernaut or the 2 opening tracks. The songs feels a lot more fleshed out and like he’s refining s*** but not too far from the mean he’s set. It does leave a bit more to be desired, but I think that just depends on the listener and what you want from an artist and if that affects your listening experience

Also I think this album had a stronger finish in comparison, where the songs kinda flow better together. While Call Me has great ending songs, I never liked the sequence. On Chroma, I keep going back to the last 4 songs for what I said about the songwriting. I just really liked the last album, has a lot of meaning and timing in my life so for now I still got it ahead. It was too fresh to me when it dropped, something I only got moments from on this album, but very strong moments.
