dat ethereal music
One thing I can criticize (and I hope that's not the case on this album) is that he drowns his voice in too many effects. It's hard to hear what he's saying sometimes. He doesn't need to do all that, he's got great vocals

i didn’t really have this issue but then again i was reading the lyrics along with the music
this is so good
been a fan since Where Will We Go and maybe this is a first listen overreaction but I think this Nick Hakim's best album
just wish it were 20 minutes longer

This album didnt resonate wit me, ngl. May be alone in that. I felt in his last record that he dialed back the vocals in comparison to green twins, and he continues that trend even further on COMETA but as well as dialing back the production too. The effects though I usually don’t mind

Same tbh. I like some songs but most of the album is just background noise. Green Twins is still his best to me

I personally lean towards WTMMG even though it’s more messy. The experimental nature of it really resonated when it was done correctly. And All These Instruments gotta be one of his best songs.
I've only been able to manage a couple listens so far. First half of the album didn't really click with me yet, besides Happen. Thought the final 3 tracks were really good though.
