This is a masterpiece. Easily her best s*** imo

If it wasn’t already obvious that she’s the greatest female rapper ever, this cements it. I don’t know if I’ve ever heard a woman bar out this hard for a full 22 tracks while also giving such a dynamic performance overall.

That dynamic quality of the album and nicki’s ability to rap so well on so many different kinds of records, is very Biggie Life After Death esque, so it’s fitting that she referenced it on here

And the way she flexes so powerfully on some rap s*** is very Hov like, she makes you believe her on here like he did in his prime

The throwbacks to her old pop sound work so well and Cowgirl is an unbelievable record, especially Nicki’s performance. She is skating and is so animated

Also great for the balance is the more mature tone of the tracks that open and close the album. She put enough of her life in this where people can’t really be on some “act your age” s*** anymore.

But then you still get that middle section of the album which is filled with bangers, great collabs, and classic Nicki. It’s fun but doesn’t feel like too much

The sequencing is AMAZING it flows perfect

Production had a good unified aesthetic with some of the samples and actually had utopian vibes at points that sounded like gag city. A couple nice experimental beats too and some detailed instrumentation

She really flexed her pen and song making skills. They lowkey just do not make them like this anymore, the hooks and performances are so far above most of what is going on in rap today, there’s some real old school song craft going on here in addition to the straight up rap s***, both which are almost lost arts

That transition and one two punch of Cowgirl into Everybody was INSANE too

Nicki restoring the feeling, what a great effort and evolution that was clearly well thought out and executed. It’s an instant classic for me and puts her legacy in a new, great light
