I really wish she would say f*** the pop s*** and just release a concise, reflective, self aware album of her just spitting over immaculate production. Really show people how good of a RAPPER she is. When she’s at her best she’s the best female rapper with the exception of maybe Missy
Sadly she is one of the least self aware people in hip hop so this will never happen. But Seeing Green and Fractions are both amazing, she definitely has the ability to do this I’m just afraid she lacks the vision to do so
Maybe motherhood will provide a fresh perspective for her

People hail 4:44 as some sign of maturity for Hov like he hadn't always been that way.
It really shows who's been listening and who hasn't, because he's been rapping the same way since Reasonable Doubt. Going back to Hov from 96 to 2000 really shows what he was about.
Nicki doesn't need that because she's also been vulnerable and mature in her music.
