Pokémon news are coming over the course of next week for the 25th anniversary of Pokémon.

I understand them porting over the Wii U version with the DLC as the base version

....but why didn't they add extra DLC on top of that? Knowing the life cycle would be like 8 years

I guess since it was basically a new game for people on Switch the Deluxe edition is a huge packager for new players.

Base Wii U didn't include the battle mode maps or the dlc tracks.

Also Im so glad they didnt update MK8 tbh. I love the game but I have my issues with it and would rather a new entry than just making new tracks.

Not happening any time soon imo. MK8 Deluxe still the best selling game on Switch. There isn't really a need for MK9 yet. Only ones who want MK9 are those who had MK8 on Wii U, and that install base is relatively small.

i got informed about this through a post covering that sakurai hinted at a new smash reveal in this. havent cared about any nintendo releases since animal crossing so this cool. nintendo had one of their worse years in 2020 i hope they doing alright now

all i really ask for is a major acnh update in march cuz i know theyre still holding on to a lot of content from that game. i remember the game dropping all empty as f*** then the data mining revealed a lotta s*** locked behind updates. insanely weird release format theyve been doing since splatoon 1-2 worked.

Metroid collection first half of 2021. Prime 4 in the fall. BOTW 2 even sooner. And since Square and Nintendo are such pals these days port over Nier Automata and add SMRPG to SNES online

While nintendo said that they're focusing on games releasing first half of 2021 that doesnt mean they wont tease games coming later, back in e3 2019 they said they were focusing on 2019 games only but they announced animal crossing release date and zelda botw2
