I wonder if coronavirus did infact delay the direct.
Corona Virus did affect Nintendo Japan, so yeah could have something to do with the delay

Mar 8, 2020·2 repliesI’ve been thinking about getting a switch. I have a ps4 and I need a new hard drive, controller and I wanted to get DBZ kakarot or Kingdom Hearts 3.. but I had this overwhelming desire to play games with Link, Zelda, Mario, Yoshi etc. Plus I think Kingdom Hearts 3 is on switch.
Even with the new ps5 dropping in holiday 2020 I probably won’t be able to get it for a bit.

i coppd my lite $215 w tax. i've had both models and prefer the lite personally but i fw portables since psp era
there is a digital store & i personally own 0 physicals - Mar 8, 2020
i do have a bunch of shovelware type bullshit but u could always ask whether a purchase is worth or not
