I’ll get the Switch Lite for now but probably end of the year or sometime next year I’ll get the regular switch I just want one now

What games should I cop?

I already know I’m getting Pokemon with it no one can sway me on that

I’m thinking maybe BOTW and Smash or Mario Odyssey

Animal Crossing is on the back burner as well but not an instant cop

Zelda BOTW, Super Mario Odyssey, Smash, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are great first buys, any of them

I have one voucher left and debating between a few games to use it on myself -- Smash, Paper Mario, Xenoblade DE

Brother owns Smash already and Xenoblade will likely discount given it's age

I had a release day switch sold it basically after completing oddysey. Got a lite for animal crossing and love it. No tv stinks but it's leagues better as a handheld and I usually listen to music/podcasts playing switch games anyway. Unless you need tv play or detachable remotes I'd honestly recommend the lite over og

Pokemon sword one of my biggest wastes of money oat. Game is so boring after like 3 hours of nostalgia. Not hating bc it's made for kids and I'm sure they love it but as a grown man that game f***ing blows

How’s fortnite on switch?

I tried it out like 2 years ago and I remember it working fine but maybe I’m wrong

It’s made lots of money being on Switch meaning it runs well enough for people to spend money on a free game.

I love Fortnite and I’ve played it on Switch since it launched. It’s probably the platform where it runs the worst but it works I guess. FPS drops, hitching and stuttering is pretty common in my experience but I still got like 3000 hours on it lol.

I’m really curious to see what major titles we’ll get this year besides the rumored Mario collection. Bayonetta 3? Metroid Trilogy? BotW 2? Pikmin? Mario collection seems like a given, but everything else is dark.

The Switch is just as good in handheld mode with the right grip

I've had both and vehemently disagree. For most people I still think og switch would be better but if your only goin handheld the lite is untouchable

Paper Mario is the only release that is in the way of bigger announcements right now. Once that game drops on Friday, Nintendo can start to unleash the heat. Announcing several big titles before Paper Mario’s release would just overshadow the new installment. Let it release on Friday and then we can finally get some news after that.
