You should check out Fire Emblem: Three Houses if you're a fan of tactical JRPGs at all. One of my favorite games of all time
Xenoblade Chronicles and Dragon Quest 11 are also worth looking into as they're some of the best games on the system. Definitely read up on them so you know what you're getting into. Hollow Knight is incredible as well, so is Astral Chain, And obviously you can't go wrong with Mario Kart tbh.

I played Super Metroid for the first time on the SNES app when I had no other games to play and that game holds up so unbelievably well, took me about 10 hours and I enjoyed every minute. I know that Nintendo is pretty slow when it comes to updates but I feel like the free SNES game deal is super slept on.

Literally didn’t beat the game for years because I didn’t know you had to blow up that one bridge in the water area

I haven't gotten very far in DQXI but I loved what I played and it's rightfully praised as a JRPG of the decade contender. It's a very traditional Dragon Quest game though. It kind of invokes the feeling of an epic 90s JRPG made in modern day.
I haven't played Vesperia though. Berseria is the only one I've played and it was solid. I hear Vesperia is the best though

Zelda isn’t an rpg, there’s no talking main character in any of the 20+ games. It’s not like Skyrim where you choose what to say, there are no dialogue trees
It’s basically an open world puzzle game, there are 120 shrines hidden around the map and you have to find them and complete the related puzzle. Also the mythic beasts have bigger puzzles inside them and you get great rewards for beating those tbh.
