I wonder what transferring data would be like, thats the only thing holding me up tbh
They do have a way of transferring data from one Switch to another already bruh!

Oh s***!!! Thanks fam! So then for the save data on my SD, it would literally be as easy as pulling the SD out of my current switch and putting it in the new?

I'm not sure tbh I've never actually looked into how that would work because I've never had to do it. There is a section on Nintendo's support site that talks about transferring data and such, so you can check it out on en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/topics/detail/p/989/c/235 and see if there's anything that answers your question.
Hot take: Announcement today
What time do they usually make announcements? 12EST?

General Directs are usually announced at either 9 AM EST or 12 AM EST if I can recall correctly. Nintendo of America hasn't tweeted anything for 19 hours. Usually their radio silence means an announcement could be coming. Just speculating of course, and basing this off of one source on Twitter but still interesting that they haven't tweeted anything for the past 19 hours.

Yup. Either way, it's almost guaranteed that we'll get something this week.

Either way we’re not far off, based on all the rumors. This week should give us some snacks.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 fire? I got my switch lite a few months back, but all I have is AC. Never really got into Luigi’s Mansion even tho I had it on the GameCube as a kid. It’s $41.99 so

Hell yeah, great game. Do you like trying to collect hidden stuff in games?

Random example, but I enjoyed collecting the orbs and stuff in crackdown lol
Is the gameplay loop based around collecting essentially?

Nah it’s not based around collecting, but a lot of the fun and challenge for me was collecting the hidden gems. It’s a bunch of puzzles kind of. It’s an adventure through a really well designed mansion with some puzzles to solve along the way. It’s a slightly slower paced game that revolves around exploration

Yeah it’s a great game, do you like Nintendo games overall? It’s not like a huge open world exploration or anything like that, but the mansion is so well done and fun to run around haha

3rd party support has been ass for the Switch honestly

It’s weird...I haven’t really played any big Nintendo titles since I was younger honestly. I used to be a crazy Animal Crossing head back on the GameCube and DS tho. I had a Wii too and a 3DS that I barely touched too.
So like I rock with Nintendo. I’m just slowly trying to build my library up with the switch now. I plan on copping Odyssey and BOTW at some point.
