naaaaa fire emblem was goty but I'm glad it did well. I feel like I didn't see a lot of people talk about it a month or so after it's release so I thought it came and went
there's no multiplayer and it's not at all open world, so that would be why it didnt have lasting hype
with that said it was amazing and lasted 2-3 weeks worth of hype online and that's not easy for a strictly single player game
Ghost of Tsushima had running hype before release but even then 3 weeks later it the hype died down, 2 weeks after that and they announced the Multiplayer content dlc for 2020
They could be in a wii kind of situation where the console is doing so well they don’t even have to drop bangers anymore.
there's still an Apex Legends release slated for September 2020, and what about more details on that Doom Eternal port?
plus Animal Crossing, Pokemon and Smash DLC

Smash DLC might not even come out this year if it’s delayed like the rest of Nintendo. All they said was “by December 2021” so technically we could get them all next year.
RGT85 latest video is whack
“Super Mario 35th collection is supposedly being announced this week”

5 new Smash chars in DLC would be amazing
maybe the work-from-home order was limited to design and SOME development only and the actual in-office development between the teams was probably just starting to begin again recently
there is a good chance Animal Crossing and Pokemon DLC are all that we get lmao
Two more weeks. Two weeks is what I give Nintendo. If there's nothing within the first two weeks of September, I'm moving on with my life and just accepting the fact that Nintendo takes the biggest L this year. Not for the lack of 2020 releases but for the lack of transparency. That's what I don't like about this situation.
same. i gave up on nintendo after july. origami king was straight trash. battle system was horrendous and there's no speed running.
Nintendo is changing pre-downloads for eShop software to pre-orders. This will allow users to cancel their purchase before the game actually launches.
Says Direct with Mario announcement is coming but the games will be late due to covid.

I watched Nate's podcast a few days ago and it sounded more like they were speculating about the collection being postponed (which makes sense considering that it's September and we still don't know a darn thing). Didn't sound like they were spitting confirmed facts but the speculation is warranted since Nintendo been so quiet and I doubt they'll announce and release a heavy hitter like a Mario collection within the same month unless it's going to be a digital game that they can drop on the eShop or NSO with short notice.
Moon? All I know is Pokemon moon.
on the eShop, port of a PS1 game that was never localized until now. Some of the leads behind Super Mario RPG worked on it, and would later work on Chulip, Chibi Robo, the Tingle DS games, and Rule of Rose

I will look it up!
