AHHHHH what!!! IT AIN'T BOTW2 BUT STILL LOOKS LIT AND THE FACT THAT HE EVEN BRIEFLY MENTIONED BOTW2 GOT ME SHAKING
Never cared much for Hyrule Warriors but this one caught my attention for obvious reasons
I'm craving BotW2 even more now.
Same here, that fact that’s this one directly tied to BOTW story line makes this a must have. Playing out the calamity battle makes this game that much more interesting.
This not a heavy hitter for the holiday season but something worth investing in.

Can't lie, holiday season was looking bleak but this announcement of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity just made me feel much better and optimistic. A whole Direct, heck even a whole year can be wack, but if there's a Zelda game released or teased at the end, that changes everything for me.
this is so much more than your typical Warriors game
i'm copying as soon as i can
there's a chance we also have a December title
but i'm gonna guess that's the Crown Tundra window

Need to see gameplay first before making such a claim myself

Also I remember after playing BotW there was always some desire to play the game 100 years before the Calamity. While they didn't go as far to make a prequel (we getting a sequel though), Age of Calamity is an awesome way to still give us a glimpse into the events. There's not just fighting but also cutscenes/story moments in Hyrule Warriors from what I've seen.

Honestly I was just happy with the Mario announcement for the holiday season. Anything else would’ve been a bonus, but this release surpassing my expectations
Speaking of BOTW....I still haven’t completed the game by facing Ganon. I’m thinking about starting the game over in master mode. Do you think that’s a good idea?

You saw Link and you saw Zelda. Why do you need to see gameplay?
Jk

there was some gameplay, not directly but footage taken from gameplay
just without user interface and centered camera
you right though we need a full preview

Like i thought p5s was gonna be trash because it was that kind of game but i tried it and it was dope as hell, hope it's the same with this one

Yep, they setting this is up by having this a must have to stick with BOTW storyline before the BOTW2 comes out. Brilliant move by Nintendo.

If you get too annoyed by weapons breaking, I say go for the normal mode because there's not just more enemies in the field but they are all stronger. Master Mode is a nice challenge though, so if you feel slick and you're into that then go ahead.
BOTW2 MARCH 2021
4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
LET'S GOOOOO

I would say master mode is definitely worth playing. I started on normal mode with a different console and have been working through master mode now.
The DLC is pretty awesome all around

Genius move. Now there's a lot of incentive for Zelda fans to get Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity to learn more about the events that happened 100 years ago, and to take part in them as well. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity comes in as the prequel, BotW 100 years later, and then the BotW sequel taking place a bit after BotW. So IN.
