there's been reports that nintendo refused to localize it due to its political statements since (at least) 2008 and reports have continued to say this til this day. thats why they dropped a localization for mother 1 instead

i'm glad they added a fast forward feature though. i tried playing fe1 on an emulator maybe a month or two ago and that s*** is just too slow

its true im sure the first general direct of 2021 will have NPSnap and BOTW2 and SMT V and NMH3 and even more MH details, also lacking Bayo3 and a few other 3rd party full reveals right?

I love FE in general, but don't how the game aged, is it too dated or is it playable?

for $5 its a no-brainer. it's "dated" for sure (it's a NES game after all), but still has that same classic FE gameplay. really hope they'll port some others in the future

for the price its at and the fact its limited release it might be worth it just to have it but in terms of playability its pretty f***ing dated and if youre not opposed to emulation i dont see any reason why you wouldnt just play the DS remake instead.
