I’ve been going in 2 years now with one pair of joycons just fine. (Plus a GameCube controller for Smash, Mario Kart, and Rocket League so maybe that’s why I’m fine with just one pair)

My left joycon is f***ed and I need to send it in but I don’t want to worry about it screwing up again in the future so I’m really debating on getting the pro :(

Pro is worth it. You should wait for Christmas deals though since you want it cheaper. Only downside is no headphone jacks for these controllers.

The controls in the new Mario and Sonic game are awful

Decided to return my Switch V2 from Amazon.. I noticed a dead/hot pixel on the screen, few scuffs on the back, and JoyCons felt lowkey loose..

Re-Copped the V2 at Target and waaay better qc on this one.. Sturdier JoyCons and no scuffs whatsoever..

I feel like the V2's holiday models were probably rushed

Possibly, but everything seemed new out the box. I was also thinking maybe it was mishandled during shipping but idk.. Im glad I returned it tho.. Im just pissed I forgot to save my Pokemon Shield data to the cloud.. Now I gotta start over
