People think nintendo fell off or became suddenly evil but it was always like this, its a corporation focused on getting money, just like any other. You can argue about morality but nintendo like many other gaming companies don't care about all that if what they're doing is legal. Its not the first time s*** happened and it wont be the last. If i have to be honest i dont care about melee so i wont take a side, and about the etika joycons, i remember back when etika died people were selling t shirts with all the revenue going to charity and it was fine, even now if the joycons didnt have switch logo and the other copyrighted stuff and instead something like just the etika logo it would've been fine. Either way, its bad publicity from nintendo and they need to do something about it cause everyone is pissed.
With that being said, liking a company =/= liking the games a company makes. I wont act like Nintendo is the worst s*** ever when my fondest gaming memories came from the games they made but regardless i can still criticize a company for the bad decisions they make

Also about Silva gunner, his videos always get claimed, its been like that for years so bringing it up now makes no sense imo, its basically a routine

without Nintendo the first 3 games i ever played never would have happened, Super Mario World, Zelda ALTTP and Donkey Kong Country

Nintendo didnt do s*** this year though, they released Animal Crossing, Xenoblade DE, Paper Mario TOK and Hyrule Warriors 2

covid happened so i can see the 90 day delays realistically and then Nintendo letting next gen drop so it can be all about the games in 2021...smart

Nah, Nintendo are scummy as f***, they have been for a while now, I'm glad people are seeing it more and more
But I'm not gonna pretend like I wouldn't cop a BOTW2, Odyssey2, a Zelda collection, etc. day one

I mean, I guess you can say it's cognitive dissonance, but I think we all have it a little bit. We're all hypocrites in one way or another, in the end.
Like, I think no one likes the fact that Nike or Zara or whatever are using sweatshops in Bangladesh or wherever, but that won't stop us from coppin their stuff
Same with Nintendo or Sony or whichever company you wanna name.
I'm just glad Nintendo is getting flack for this s*** cause they're still my favorite videogame company in the end, & I'm hoping some of this s*** gives their PR enough trouble that they might change their ways, at least a bit.
