Might be the only one that would be happy with 1080p 60fps for normal games and 1080 30fps for open worlds, but that's cause i dont really notice that much difference between 30 and 60fps and also cause i dont have a 4k tv. As long as games have stable fps and are in hd im happy but i know im a minority

yeah ive heard/seen that but i can confirm that the Switch docked cannot run BOTW in 1080p @ 60fps

there are no open world games that run at full 1080p and 60fps that run on the Switch, all of these are 30fps and most run a dynamic resolution

Witcher 3 ran at 1080p 30fps on ps4 and 900p 30fps on xbox one and nobody cared/complained. Makes sense cause open world games are huge and stable 30fps are enough to enjoy them.
Almost all of those games dont need 60fps besides fortnite since its a tps and ps4/xbox one would have ran them on 30fps. Considering the switch is a portable console mainly its impressive we can get these games, and with the president saying they're planning to keep the switch concept for a long time we're definitely gonna get an improved version, but only when game companies leave the ps4 era behind which i dont see happening in the next year

I think we're getting a new switch when metroid prime 4 comes out, botw2 works on the same engine as the first one and with the team working on the switch hardware they're gonna optimize it to play at least in 900p @ stable 30fps

Both are arguable lol, Xbox 360 is still used today and not only for one game like with the gamecube, and the snes has the biggest amount of classic games ever. But still, my point was you're getting too worked up over melee and double dash when there are hundreds of new games you could give a try. Its cool you still support melee but the 180 turn on Nintendo feels reactionary and childish.
