We both know aint nobody owning a switch watching tv in 2021
Tv commercials only work for parents whose kids have a switch, all the other demographics, especially those interested in a metroid type game, use youtube and twitch more than they ever use a tv. Im saying all of this while knowing aint no metroid game coming out this year, but i want to state that imo tv ads are useless in this day and age
those ads are in a lot more places and out of 70+ million Switch owners, Nintendo will want to reach them all with every AAA first party
i saw FE Three Houses everywhere and im not even a fan, never searched it or played it
Im sure if that were to happen the 70 million switch players would just get the new metroid game on a system they already own instead of bying a 400$ console for halo. If even 1/5 of switch owners bought metroid it would be a huge success for the series, that's all they should focus on
its not about one or the other lol its just about how dominant Microsoft and Halo are of the ad space and its not even worth it for Nintendo to compete on bidding when it could be cheaper to wait til early 2022 and let MP HD Trilogy be out during Halo's massive campaign
advertising is 90% of the biz
i think i may be the only one who doesn’t care about a switch pro lol
if i wanna play super demanding games i’ll fire up my pc or xbox
most nintendo first parties and indies run fine, i’m cool with that

I dont care either, ill consider bying one when new games run like s*** on this switch
Fire Emblem 3H or Splatoon 2?
I know they are different types of games but i got a hard time deciding which one i should get

haven’t played FE but Splatoon is really fun once you get the hang of it.
however, they did publicly say they were going to stop supporting it event-wise like last year.
BUT, they have had multiple events since they said that, including a mario 35 one next week loll
Interesting
believable
also seems like the typical next move
however that Realtek dock chip 🤔🤔

If its on the dock i hope they sell dock only along with the new model, would definitely buy that

if they offered the ability to upgrade our current docks for under $200 USD for a chance to play BOTW1, BOTW2, NMH3 and MP4 in 4K @ 30fps they would secure 3-4 more years for Switch, which is in line with their projections
and games like Super Mario Odyssey, Smash Bros, MK8D, Splatoon 2, Donkey Kong, Yoshi and more could run in 4K @ 60fps

Same
I don’t really care for a Switch Pro unless it’s actually a huge upgrade
This “pro” model that’s suppose to come out soon, I think will disappoint a lot of people. Don’t think it’ll be as “pro” as people want
BOTW was 900p and Xenoblades were 720p but you dont want a better Switch upgrade?
am i the only docked player? i mean i play both equally
my TV is a 4K 65" OLED screen and BOTW looks pretty blurry and both Xenoblades are full blurry open worlds and in towns with that 720p max

Xenoblade 2 & Chronicles were 720p DOCKED?
I almost exclusively play my Switch Lite & play a few games docked on my regular Switch but I'll DEFINITELY cop an upgrade as long as the games have substantially better resolution & performance.

Same. I mean, it would be nice to have a switch with better performance so 3rd party games don’t almost always launch a mess. But overall I’m happy with the base switch it gets done what I need done

Tbf that's mostly on 3rd parties being lazy, doom eternal looks great on switch

Look how long it took them to get it right though. They have to work magic to get games like DOOM and Witcher to run decent on switch. It’s no easy feat at all, a better performing switch is a win for everyone

Yeah but id rather wait 7 months rather than getting a half assed s***ty port. Switch is already becoming old hardware but when we're getting games like immortals and doom looking that good its on other 3rd parties to make good ports since those two show its possible
