February 27th is Pokemon's celebration day, Zelda doesnt have an actual annual day. Pokemon is also celebrating the new movie, the anime, the cards, the games etc and Zelda would just be showing off mostly gaming which they wouldnt want squandered 2 weeks later by the largest media franchise to ever exist on earth

It's possible, but I think we'll get news/new trailer for BotW 2 sooner than that. Most likely in a Zelda anniversary Direct together with the announcement of other Zelda games and products to celebrate its 35h anniv. Just speculating based on how they did with Mario's 35th and the fact that BotW 2 has only been shown once and it was 1,5 years ago.

why do you think they would do that between now and February 27th? that's too much to let go when all these early 2021 games are still on the way like 3D World, MH Rise, BD2 and more

also im pretty sure Nintendo's year will be stacked without BOTW2 so there's no way theyll announce it this early, i think youre over a***ysing the "35th anniversary" part when Zelda never has a specific day

im thinking at best we get a full Zelda direct before E3 in April or May but we dont get a release date on BOTW2, just the title and more story and then at E3 we get the full on gameplay trailer, release date and the details on a new Switch model

I think it is possible for them to announce some Zelda news/Direct between now and the 27th of February because that's what they did for Mario's 35th. They dropped a 35h anniversary Direct in early September, Mario's birth month, and dropped 3D All-Stars a few weeks later the same month. I think they could do the same for Zelda, but as I said I'm just speculating and hoping to see more Zelda asap. You never know what Nintendo might do at the end of the day. The sooner the better lol.
