I've never come across a Super Nintendo or 64 or Gameboy that didn't still work so I doubt its a nefarious planned obsolescence thing. They probably just s*** the bed super bad with some accidental faulty engineering.

I'm just being facetious but I agree thats what makes it so strange. Their consoles & controllers have always had a reputation of being extremely durable and long lasting.

The thing i hate the most is being like 5th or 6th and i get hit by a green or red shell, like i cant be mad being hit by a shell in 1st or 2nd place, but when you're 5th you feel bad for yourself that got hit and for the dude that got a shell instead of a shroom or something

One thing i'll give to people who dont like mario kart 8 is that there's not much strategy, mario kart wii on the other hand has a lot of strategy put into it and it makes it way more rewarding to master

They gave this one a 7/10 which is not the issue, not all mario games have to be at least a 9/10, but then you see their review of the wii u version and that got a 9.6/10 which makes me wonder what was done so much worse to warrant a 2.6 decrease in score
Dunkey was right, gaming publications have too many reviewers so their opinions are way too different and inconsistentI'm so hyped for this especially since this is my first time playing it and I always wanted to play it
