yeah pretty tanky fight, keep strafing/doding during his combos, then answer with three heavy hits, that was my strat, went well, be patient cuz its a long fight and you dont want to risk going for a extra hit because of his dmg. you got this!

even tho the story is pretty mid, the last stretch of the game was really solid

great game overall. not sure if i like this more than the first or not? gotta see what the dlc brings.

havent got this yet but I just finished Nioh 1, kinda surprised to hear you say this still. What you like about Nioh 1 over this?

think it's just the fact it was the first in the series, so it was a newer experience. nioh 2 def brings changes, but it's still a nioh game. guess that doesn't mean it's better though

overall, i think i liked the areas in 1 more than 2. though 2 does have some of the best areas (especially towards the end).

dam, the areas like the only thing I disliked about Nioh 1, was hoping for some improvements :

im prob just dumb as s*** and not remembering it correctly. been like 2 & 1/2 years since i played nioh 1.

regardless, if you liked nioh 1, you'll really enjoy nioh 2

yeah, you're gettin towards the end. there's a total of 7 regions, with the last being VERY short. you've prob got like 7-8 main missions left.

having any difficulties with him? seen a lot of people saying they're having a hard time.

yeah he's a wall right now, I'm stuck, I don't really think he's super hard, but he hits kinda hard and I get greedy sometimes. He's constantly f***ing up my ki too. But my last two attempts were almost W's so I feel like I got him soon, how did you fare against him?

I was about to start NG+ on Nioh 1 but I said f*** it and just copped Nioh 2

he took me 5 or so attempts? i didn't really have any issues, though i feel like i'm cheating with this magic build

but yeah, he ain't too bad imo. just gotta be smart during the yokai realm parts of the fight. mf murders your ki and does that ramming attack over and over lmao

Is it good so far

Yeah it's def an improvement over the first game. Good variety of enemies and bosses which was my biggest complaint with the first one. It just drags a little at times imo.

I'm only in the third area though and I do every mission and side mission before moving on to the next one

did get a lil burnt out around the fifth region. had to force myself to play, but really enjoyed it after getting back into playing.

aight you did good man! I feel you, I wrecked the first game playing a ninjutsu build, s*** was broken, absolutely destroyed bosses it was a cheat code lol. but yeah just have patient, play smart and have some elixirs and this boss should go down soon.

yup, there's 7. last one is REALLY short though. i just went straight for the main missions after finishing up region 5. just wanted to get the game finished up before persona comes out on tuesday

the later missions do seem a slight bit shorter. at least, it felt that way for me. always got to the final boss door and was shocked that was it. though i had at least another 10-15 minutes in most of em.
