Okay let me focus on trump and why I would vote for him

I actually think he has done some legitimate things for black people. Say what you want about him being hostile to other countries but we’ve stayed out of foreign conflicts for the most part and I’m a huge isolationist. The economy was doing pretty good before COVID. I think he is doing a good job with enforcing immigration. I support a legal path to citizenship and don’t think illegal immigrants should be just absorbed so easily into our country. Obama started the family separation and detainment at the borders.

And to be fair OP, this is why Trump won in 2016 too. The media is genuinely terrible and extremely biased and they will do everything possible to hide anything that makes liberals look bad.

However, you also have to realize there are many avenues that are extremely biased towards Trump and the conservative movement as well including in conservative media (though even Fox News has been heavily critical of him). He also objectively mostly benefits super rich people.

End of the day, I think anybody who tells you to vote expecting you to vote Democrat is a piece of s*** but you should never vote based on the extremities of the media

  but theres clear parameters: they're already in the country, pay taxes, and pass a background check (immigrant background checks tend to be very stringent). america was founded on the complaint of "no taxation without representation" anyway. furthermore, biden's website also claims that he will attempt to address illegal immigration via border hopping by trying to end the problems at the source--he mentions providing aid to central american countries so they can for instance deal with the cartel problem driving a lot of asylum seekers to the us: "aid linked to governments in the region delivering measurable reductions in gang and gender-based violence, improvements in legal and educational systems, and implementation of anti-corruption measures, among other things. This support will also be supplemented by international donors and regional partners." which i think makes more sense than blindly trying to pretend the issue doesnt exist
