    cbt is just meditation without sitting down is it not?

    cbt is more in the tune of changing our behaviours and way of thinking. there’s meditative practices involved at times, but much more in depth on root causes.

    Neurologists are constantly telling us how little they understand the brain, I’m not surprised meds are BS (if this study is right)

    imo the best cure for depression is time/gradual exposure to new environments because as long as the person is getting exposed to different stimulation and experiences, overtime their cognitive wiring does change. Not necessarily for the better either, just atleast they’ll begin to reflect differently than before. That’s something we know for sure — that stimuli effects us on the surface and also subconsciously.
