In 2011 Cudi got the chance to make a song for the Fright Night remake.

"We were inspired to create the song for the movie, which is something I've never done before. It was a challenge. I didn't want it to be a cheesy, cliché type of record. I wanted it to be something people could play and absorb and enjoy without thinking this is for the Fright Night movie."

This wasn't a very popular song, coupled with the fact the film didn't do too well commercially, its not surprising this flew under the radar to most people not big into Cudi.

The song itself fits perfectly into the plot and atmosphere of the film while also being about Cudi's d*** addiction and place in the industry. This was after MOTM II and right before WZRD. Lyrically this song is very limited, but no word is wasted. Every line he says is meaningful and can be interpreted in different ways.

Sonically this song could be a MOTM2 cut. The beat itself is really atmospheric. The sample was very popular among youtube conspiracy channels.

The sample was chosen precisely to recreate the same vibe. The beat itself also includes a heavy kick that evokes the sound of booming footsteps. The video itself is also a great tie in to the film.

I think this is Cudi's most underrated song and one of the best songs in his discog. It's the perfect cudi song, the perfect video and its on the Halloween Playlist every year.
