of course the prison system is very flawed, I agree. but at its core it needs to exist, where else do we put the serial killers? and people should be locked up for murder imo.

i agree w this too. there is no such thing as inherent good or evil. everything is for the benefit for others one way or another.

Agree with OP to some extent, our current conception of crime and justice exist for no other reason than to maintain the status quo, what criminals are doing is essentially protesting against a world that has forsaken them in one way or another.

Do away with the current criminal justice system who's only purpose is to give the impression of order. Instead of a tough on crime approach, why not actually listen to the people driven to lashing out

of course, i agree that murderers and pedos n the like do deserve to be locked up in a facility of sorts, as to where i honestly have no idea. thats the thing. but thats just the way it is until technology advances enough to the point where theres much more taxing punishments can be put out, i imagine in a couple decades from now prison is going to be the least of the criminals worries tbh.

Well then living is, according to you, inherently bad. In that case everything is bad except if you kill yourself. You are not gonna kill yourself so we are both gonna be bad people. Everything is bad and nothing about that can possibly be changed since we are going to live. We still live with a group. You can hate the group and nothing happens or you can join the group and try to change it from the inside in. If prison is bad you should start campaining against it, get the majority on your side and prison will cease to exist.
