I was living in an apartment complex in a sundown town , whole floor had these pointed directly at my front door s*** was OD, I swear to god, sometimes it would just go off randomly when you walk past in the hallway and one was pointed directly into my house when I opened my door s*** was f***ed. And the complex already had cameras plus it was a town that has zero crime

Crazy how they definitely have internal tools that, if they wanted to, could do this with people, easily

We're f***ed and most people will lap this up. Mass tech surveillance state powered by AI is here and will just get worse. There are already many incidences of innocent people getting arrested because AI falsely identified them as being someone they are not.

I had to text my fam that they needed to take there's down (or at least replace it with a locally stored knockoff) when I saw that. Never really liked them having one in the first place

plus, some guy got one on the ground floor of my apartment building which makes me avoid walking past their door. One person designates themself "hall monitor" and, boom, another knot in that wide net of surveillance is established. There aren't any thefts or shootings around here so why they got it is a mystery

Yeah I’m not trying to be a doomer and I’m not gonna go skitzo and reduce my happiness a ton but I’m being more intentional with my money, sold off some really frivolous things i don’t need or care about. Just stacking so i don’t become a have not if the machines take over

The nicest areas got the most security. I live in a really nice area like really one of the nicest safest areas when you look it up on Google and this one door has a sensor that says “you are now being recorded” every time i walk by and it is the most dystopian s*** in a neighborhood where you can keep your doors unlocked at night

Nah I wouldn't go that far and say machines are taking over but everyone should be saving their money for the impending economic collapse we'll see in the next couple years if not sooner

I think a recession is coming with ~18 months more or less and i sold some high risk investments (btc, etc) a few months ago in preparation for that. I’m really steeped in tech and i think unfortunately entry level workers are gonna get phased out in digital industries in the next 5 years. I hope I’m wrong but I’m expecting myself to be expendable
