And no one cared after. Which is the point. That specific song sure was a hit but most hits is just the single a popular artist chooses at the time. You rarely get hits that bubble up that are completely organic.

Different factors. What’s trending, what other big artist are releasing around the same time, the fact that it’s not as good as the record that came before it.
Doesn’t change the fact that Drake can release almost any song and it’s a hit. That’s a testimony to his popularity that necessarily the song.
