Big week for 40

A 100% rap album is something people think they want, but they don’t really.
Agreed.
no one wants 10 diplomatic immunity tracks. That would be the same song over and over. But he is capable of making 10 amazing rap songs. It’s really about content and production for me.
Drake's greatest strength is that he isn't a conventional artist. He doesn't have to do just ONE thing and he's never done that. A lot of the complaints I'm seeing are unfair because 95% of you met Drake in 2009: either after the release of So Far Gone or when Best I Ever Had became a hit and you fell in love with his music then. He wasn't a conventional rapper then. He's literally rapping the verses and singing the hook on Best I Ever Had - his first hit record. So Far Gone and Take Care, two of his best-received projects have him singing just as much, if not more than he's rapping. You can also make the same case for Views and Nothing Was the Same.
I understand people wanting only the Drake that raps or only the Drake that sings but he became the Drake we all know and love because he insisted on blending both of those worlds.
Projects like If You're Reading This and Dark Lane Demo Tapes have him rapping 90% of the time. Scorpion Side A is all bars. For those of you who only want him to rap, that's 3 projects where he's done just that.
People complaining about this 11 years into his mainstream rap career is honestly getting tiring. Accept what he does or move on.
Facts I need him blurring the lines between the two just like NWTS
he called it Attack of The Titans
