The latest installment of Fargo is set in Minnesota and North Dakota, 2019. After an unexpected series of events lands “Dorothy ‘Dot’ Lyon” (Juno Temple) in hot water with the authorities, this seemingly typical Midwestern housewife is suddenly plunged back into a life she thought she had left behind.

Fargo is an American black comedy–crime drama anthology television series created and primarily written by Noah Hawley.

The show is inspired by the 1996 film of the same name written and directed by the Coen brothers, who serve as executive producers on the series alongside Hawley.

It premiered on April 15, 2014, on FX.

The series follows an anthology format, with each season set in a different era with a different story, cast, and set of characters; however, each season shares a common chronology with the original film.

The best season imo. I think people just have a natural aversion to seeing modern settings in tv/film. Season 3 will be seen as kino in 10 years when it's no longer Contemporary

Season 3 low key got memory holed. I notice a lot of people don't fw that season. Probably too real and hit too close to home

Season 3 is probably great binge watched but I can understand why some people didn’t f*** with it weekly.

Yeah that was right around when Fox started straight up dropping shows on blu, same s*** happened to Hawley's other show Legion.
