And I completely understand why. The stuff he was doing felt more like showing love than simply hoping on a song with a young up and comer. But what’s the difference between this and what D**** does? Is it the sacrificing his personal sound? Is it the transparent reasoning? What makes it so different?

Bun B didn’t have to do a song with Dizzie or chip, but he did

    M To the Ozu

Half a thought, need help with the other half

what youre saying makes no sense and no correlation

first of all bun b has always kept with most people he helps

2nd bun b has been seen s a legend and a teacher since the 2000s

3rd bun b has always helped people out since the 80s/90s - from mainstream to "nobdies" on his own block

4th bun b has always been respected from the streets to the business rooms - he is basically a more personal jay z in lame-in simple terms

5th he wasnt active in the 2010s/late 2000s doing mostly legit charity work while putting out a project once in a while of his own volition

6th he is seen as one of the "wisemen" of the genre since the 2010s

    7th its bun b

drake is active, from Canada, "not from the streets/sound", not universally respected unlike bun b, usually drops the artist he "helped" after the single song including contact, most rappers drake helps are strett rappers since nwts and its seen as him vulturing to boost his own "creed" (which those songs do, so he is getting a benefit), he has not done nowhere near the personal work bun has at least in america, lot of people dont see drake as "real rap", drake is seen as "spoiled" from his acting career prior & drake is not seen as "a leader" outside of trends

him n bun b are nothing a like

most rappers are nothing alike compared to bun b

yall just be sayin anything bro

Bun B didn't become the artists and sounds he worked with like Drake does. That's always been the difference. People find it weird when Drake does this because he's a chameleon actor type without a clear identity or set of principles. He's always changing, for better or for worse, and that's why people sense a lack of authenticity from him.
