What did you learn about Donald as a person from listening to the album?

Album was not bad at all. He tried to be too mysterious and it backfired.

3.15.20 doesn’t have that much personality either it’s just Prince/Stevie Wonder cosplay

Yeah BTI is my favorite but still felt like the Vibrate one and Beautiful had more like personality and his own flavor in the vocals and writing

AML is a good album and I’m not even doing a oh its karoke thing but it just doesnt have any fun moments besides California and thats probably the worst song

I learned that he’s got a knack for singing in ways that I didn’t think he could. He really brought a unique delivery for him on some of the tracks and it just felt good to hear him singing within that particular genre of music. I love soul & funk 70’s music.

Idk man it’s not that deep. It’s just a lot more enjoyable to me then 90% of 3.15.20.

mf really wanted this album to be his Sign O’ The Times with all the Prince-esque minimalism

More than just inspired, bro was damn near covering some of those songs

His best work ever and a damn good album in its own right

That Bon Iver-rip off intro and the big foot little foot tracks should have been scrapped though

this not even music its a collection of weird sounds lol

i just want gambino to rap again. nigga was flexing pics in the studio wit quavo, tierra whack, etc and these songs nowhere to be found
