Niggas throw on a black turtleneck with a gold chain and swear they got all the drip. Wearing basic normal fits and throw on an Apple Watch and swear they’re the best dressed. I've been thinking about this for while now:

As far as nostalgia goes, we've been slowly reaching this potential full circle moment in the way that we've been revisiting trends and aesthetics from past decades.

We did it during the Jerkin era when we tried to bring back the 80s hightop fades and the jumbo dookie chains with aviators.

We did the 90s grunge and thrifted band tees, starter jackets and snapbacks.

We're currently still going through our early 2000s wave.

It's only a matter of time before we reach the point where someone tries to "ironically" brings back the late 2000s mallcore "aeropostale/sperrys/american eagle/Abercrombie and Fitch/new boyz hot topic checkerboard skinnies" era.

Then from there, we loop right back around to the super God awful, terrible 2010 street goth extended scoop tee, pyrex, black scale, been trill, hood by air numbers on the back, all black, roshe runs wave.

And it will be during that moment where we all realize in hindsight that the 2010s had no real true definitive aesthetic to call their own, because we spent most of that decade reminiscing about past stuff, hence making the 2010s the worst fashion wise.
