If we erase SLS all together and replace it with FNL I think Cole would have the Nas Illmatic narrative some where ppl would view him as having one significantly great project. Most probably would’ve considered FNL his best like now But at the same time if he was granted that freedom early on who knows what type of projects we would’ve gotten after
