Calling people by their pronouns is just being nice to others, simple. Truth be told, i have no idea how a biological man can know what a woman feels like on the inside, but if he wants to be addressed as a woman then so be it.

A lot of people do it to virtue signal these days. I have a few queer friends and even they agree that it's mostly just people who are unaffected jumping on this "trend" to elevate their own "moral position" lol...
Like I'm not gonna be edgy and deliberately call someone by a pronoun they don't want to be addressed with but a lot of it is really overkill lol
One of my friends actually brought up an interesting thought. He's worried about the fact that "being queer" or acting that way is a "trend" right now. Alright so it's a trend now. What happens in.. 5-10 years when people move on again and find some new s*** to hop on? He fears that this s*** might actually do more harm in the long run
