1. Conscious rap is a subgenre where rappers about sociopolitical problems & the inner landscape
2. Rappers of today drift in & out of consciousness due to the widespread & popularized use of barbiturates & other narcotics

Noname is talking in turns about how she indulges in conscious rap but reaches outside of that box to avoid pigeonholing, & also she cares to just talk about more stuff than that. Sometimes she is gone off a xan too I guess
