Books are dope as hell. Education is dope as hell. But it's a very specific resource that people have to want to engage with to benefit from. I don't see many young people in general walking around with novels today, and people from lower ses backgrounds may also not have the free time to read a ton of books.

I'm just hoping this doesn't turn into a prop for LA "influencers" and tiktokers.

Maybe that’s bc stuff like bookstores that noname created dont really exist in lower ses backgrounds, so creating it will provide people a great source of literature to read which will make people want to as well. It’s a shame that typically once something like this is introduced somewhere, a Starbucks and Whole Foods opens and kicks everyone out

I think it is bc it’s really a small business and not a corp, plus the genius of it which I respect her for is it’s all free so it isn't bringing any “financial incentives” for corporations to tag along and build into, allowing it to provide more so for the people in that community!!
