He was talking bout her husband
Edit: not her husband but someone call Kate his wife
it's not gymnastics he's literally just explaining how capitalism works
How is Beyoncé making a movie and using a majority of Africans who would not normally get the look or recognition different than NoName using a company to sell merch that exploits child labor? When they are options to use companies that don’t do that?
I would be so annoyed if they thought we all smoke mid because noname smoke mid
This explains so much. No wonder she be so mad b**** always got a headache
Lord someone get this girl a f***in ounce of some loud swear we won’t hear from her till 2021

Jay Electronica also blocks ppl on Twitter when they question him about Farrakhan's homophobia
Anyone who buys or sells anything is using capitalism but if you say it’s wrong and still do it then you’re not a capitalist?
participating in capitalism doesn't make a person a capitalist, as there's no sustainable way for a person living within a capitalist society to not take part in it
exploiting labour for monetary gain makes someone a capitalist
Bro sometimes i feel like she wants to be Huey from the boondocks but she coming off like this highest of keys..
!https://youtu.be/Z2DfB-pY9G0Sooo brother... where ya poems at?

Synopsis is white?? Somehow this is not shocking but still pretty shocking
The day she begins using her platform to present concrete information, statistics and solutions is the day she’ll have a much bigger impact. Then she’ll be closer to pulling needed people toward her ideals and be in better position to work toward achieving something in reality. Tweeting about everyone you don’t agree with isn’t going to do anything.
Shut up
This explains so much. No wonder she be so mad b**** always got a headache
Lord someone get this girl a f***in ounce of some loud swear we won’t hear from her till 2021
lmao if she hit the blunt and literally started disappearing
intention is not the end of the discussion
lets say a nigerian film company is trying to make a video on Black American culture. this company notoriously known for profiting off of people’s cultures that are sometimes allowed to be inaccurate and generalized, to the point of trying to trademark a major holiday (Disney tried to do this with the Día De Los Muertos).
The film does attempt to bring a positive tone to black culture in the united states. however, it jumbles every black persons in america to a single cultural identity, and the identity is a stereotypical one that is similar to what we saw in the news circuit of the 90’s. A guy with sagging pants who rides in a cadillac with a backwards fitted and works a working class job. Sure the movie paints him in a positive light, but it erases and belittles the multitude of black subcultures in America. The queer black life, the suburban one, etc etc.
this might be a somewhat different standard to our irl one, but it shows that the issue isn’t intention, it’s also how it reflects the subject matter to the audience. And in the case of culture, it must be an accurate, respected display of such
Why are y’all getting offended on behalf of Africans tho? Genuine question
Most anti-capitalist kids I know have the richest parents
I can see the connection tbh
U know a capitalist is a distinct class right
So a poor person isn’t a capitalist?
Most people considered black in America have ancestors who are more closely related to the indigenous people already on this continent before slavery, but y’all aren’t ready for that convo.
Africa is just an easier culture to bite from because at least we know what that looks like. The actual history has been destroyed.
This is the hotep theory that pisses me off the most
