Bey is a great performer, but irl she seems like.. much more of a normal, lowkey timid person.
She doesn't really have that label generated "larger than life" persona imo.
noname having the platform she does means people itt expect her to be some kind of radical leader and not just a person tweeting
She doesn't do s*** but tweet tho.
i said that because i don't expect her to just pick up a gun and start a revolution cause i'm not an idiot
a major part of every revolution is education, it isn't just fighting
She says often it’s not her job to educate 😂
noname having the platform she does means people itt expect her to be some kind of radical leader and not just a person tweeting
It’s not like Noname’s tweets consist of words like “DESTROY THE PATRIARCHY” or anything that is definitely not the tone of somebody who wants to incite a revolution.
She doesn't do s*** but tweet tho.
and we're in a 21 page thread on an internet forum about said tweets so we're not really in the position to be judging someone for posting
So are you arguing that black Americans are indigenous to the Americas? Even though there DNA is almost entirely West African? How does that make sense to you?
The tests are inaccurate.
we on 20 pages now????
https://twitter.com/aioesarah/status/1289254096847814657Any Noname thread turns into Capitalism vs Communism let’s keep it 100%
Shes just a fake woke chick who gets her s*** off attacking percieved slights online.
Shes like a politically minded Azaleia Banks.
Maybe because the US doesn't wait very long to intervene? Like what the f*** do you consider success
Jesus man I’m not asking a very difficult question over here
Are you just afraid of the answer? Lmao
The problem is you need authoritarianism to sustain socialism because it’s literally impossible to get 100% people on board so you will have to force the ideology onto some unwilling people.
This is why socialist countries are doomed from the start, US or not.
It’s not like Noname’s tweets consist of words like “DESTROY THE PATRIARCHY” or anything that is definitely not the tone of somebody who wants to incite a revolution.
and you think a b-list rapper is really gonna incite a revolution with some tweets?
noname having the platform she does means people itt expect her to be some kind of radical leader and not just a person tweeting
Lowkey, Noname would criticize Noname for not doing more if she wasn't Noname
She seems to be well informed on her stance. At least by the way she keeps letting tweets go attacking people. But rather than try to build with people who agree with her or sway people who are somewhat receptive to what she has to say to her side, she’s spends a lot of time attacking everything she doesn’t agree without providing any type of plan or framework of how her ideologies could be implemented on a large scale. Or even a small one at that.
She has a large platform and is able to get her opinions out to hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people whenever she’s online. Thousands of people at least somewhat agree with her ideologies and look toward her being some sort of leader.
She could use her platform to explain her stances, detail why her stances are better than what’s presently occurring in society, and map out ways to bring about the change she believes is necessary. But she doesn’t.
A feasible solution is anything that could be accomplished in reality with planning and action. Basically a solution that isn’t a pipe dream and can actually be worked toward. Not just screaming “capitalism bad, socialism good” as many times as you can. If she believes capitalism is bad and socialism is the answer, then she can provide solutions that lead to that type of society being brought about.
How do you know she's not doing this
and we're in a 21 page thread on an internet forum about said tweets so we're not really in the position to be judging someone for posting
I can judge her for being a s*** starter who I havent seen do anything but start s***.
and you think a b-list rapper is really gonna incite a revolution with some tweets?
You missing the entire point of my argument is my favorite part.
As I said Noname can do wtf she wants but if she’s still on Twitter in 10 years selling T shirts that say “Fuck Capitalism” not doing s*** else my opinion on her is likely to remain the same.
I can judge her for being a s*** starter who I havent seen do anything but start s***.
ok as long as you're having fun :)
Jesus man I’m not asking a very difficult question over here
Are you just afraid of the answer? Lmao
Because the answer isn't as simple as saying this country or that country. You cant even list criteria for what you consider successful
Actually watching the thing now, visuals go crazy
it’s kinda odd though how Beyonce always paints herself as some sort of God character right in the center of every single scene, relegating the African cast to just her backup dancers or tools for the flimsy plot that she also completely dominates with voiceover. It’s hard not to feel this is just a vanity project in the way she must pull focus every scene instead of working to tell a story with the amazing sets and actors she has working on this. I dunno, it’s cool but I guess I can see where Noname is coming from
Beyonce is always in some form deifying herself, regardless of what culture it is lol

If anything she creates some decent dialogue. I've defending her before...but not in this case.
