How’s an indie artist in a world that’s exploited by capitalists from all sides a part of the problem?

Jay-Z’s accumulation of wealth is nothing short than Buffet’s or Bezos’s. In order for you to have that much money, you’re endorsing every element of injustice inherent in capitalism. A black billionaire isn’t better than a white one by the virtue of their race

I said she is apart of the system. I never said the problem.

Explain how Bloomberg accumulated his wealth in a way that exploited millions of people and how it endorsed every evil in Capitalism

just because people weren’t exploited directly doesn’t mean there was no exploitation at all. The stock market in itself is exploitative in that its people basically buying and selling the labor of certain businesses in the market like a game. If it truly wasn’t exploitative, there would be no stock market as nobody would be able to buy out someone’s labor and money without their direct consent.

Bloomberg’s complicit actions in further reinforcing the infrastructure of the stock market, making use of third world labor, and trading himself makes him exploitative

    This is a reach

When construction workers build and create the infrastructure that allows companies and headquarters for agencies like Chase to succeed they are complicit.

When healthcare workers knowingly save the lives of stock brokers, they are complicit.

News Journalist who document stock trends are complicit

You are complicit for posting in a category for Music on a Hip Hop former that promotes consumption of music in a capitalistic setting

People reach like this because they know arguing that Bloomberg Terminal inherently or directly exploited anyone is a reach

The same way you argue about Bloomberg Terminal, I could argue about Hospital Electronic Medical Records in the context of Insurance companies

now you’re getting it, the only people who aren’t complicit at the end of the day are the third world people and the immigrants of america who produce all of our products and luxuries for cents on the dollar

i already shared my opinion off the profit motive of art and the way it taints all artistic integrity

but once again, he is also a trader himself so he’s far more directly involved than any of us

You answered your own question. Wealth accumulation is inherently exploitative because it appropriated the labour of the many and assign it to the owner of the workforce. All the hours that Bloomberg worked in his life doesn’t add up to his wealth when you a***yze costs. It takes an army of employees to generate that kind of revenue; now, are they fairly compensated? No, because in the end the output of their labour is more expensive than its cost (their wages).

Hoarding money is also exploitative. If you take the money of the one percent and distribute it evenly across the globe, you will eradicate poverty for centuries. That’s another face of how capitalism exploits

This is the wrong answer. Bloomberg straight up charges 25k per subscriber.

There was no way humanly possible he wouldnt be a billionaire.

You cant argue about Bloomberg being a billionaire solely off how he accumulated his wealth since he's literally charging a f***load of bands to like 300k sub scribers.

You have to argue about how the institutions he props up with his company are exploitative
