For black Americans, it's time to let go of African imagery. It isn't black American culture. We have our own culture, traditions, and history here. We don't need Africa anymore in a sense. While yes, we can trace our roots back there, the simple fact remains that most black Americans on KTT have closer ties to black America than they do Africa.

Black American capitalists using African imagery is also weird af and at times, to me, it comes off almost similar to when white people appropriate black culture. You ain't gotta fake the funk.
